The third main character for my upcoming YA Novel, Uncharted Waters, is Claire; a New York socialite and debutante who seemingly has it all. Back to the Hamptons from a year away at her Ivy League college, Claire is excited to focus on spending time with family and friends during the summer months and stay away from all the boy-drama she suffered through during her first year away at college.
But when she and her best friend, Kingston, meet a couple of mysterious visitors and reunite with old friends, the drama she so ardently wanted to escape all comes rushing back at her and she’s forced to keep a secret from her friends and family. To make matters worse, her meddlesome mother, despite Claire’s protestations, wants her to find a man to settle down with.
Will Claire be forced into a romantic situation she’s not comfortable with? Will her friends find out what she’s hiding?
