January 25, 2018 at 3:12 pmHello Mr Langan, I do enjoy your articles but may I add just a few thoughts. A dinner for a possible up and coming try Chinese noodles with snow peas, mushrooms, onions and grated carrots. I do Sesame oil to cook. Then take almond butter and whisk up with a little more oil. (Please be sure your possible new friend isn’t allergic to nuts). If you are really looking forward to this dinner add shrimp again remember allergies. If having 2nd thoughts just use chicken cooked in Teriyaki sauce with some soy and ginger. I also use white pepper. Mix it all together and “Viola”. Fast and easy. Appetizers could be suishi (yuk). Yet I see you youngsters love it.
For dessert may I recommend Chocolate wine (delish) with strawberries along with grapes. You could have the strawberries iced in tuxedos by your near by bakery. If it is going great use them if not just give them the plain ones. You could even get some grapes. Don’t want to much chocolate. Easy to prepare yet impressionable. If it is a good night you can feed
each other. Good luck!
I also have a rare recipe for Beef Wellington if you really want to impress someone and may I suggest making it together. Great date idea.
Lmk what u think and how it went or goes.

January 25, 2018 at 3:35 pmJust read your article on spices I would like to try them. Can I get them from you?
I am into natural oils from Young Living, just my personal choice. I love the lemon, lime, and citrus on fish and salads. The lemon is delicious in water and healthy. I have used the nutmeg and cloves in soups and Mexican. Dill also for potato salads and cucumbers. I could go on. My husband loves them too! Will wonders never ever seize. You only need 2-3 drops.
Love, love, love spices.A friend brought me back some from Africa I tried! Spices can make or break a dish. Play with them and use always.
