Given the Latin America culture found so prominently in Southern California, tacos have become a way of life for most residents. More importantly though, every Tuesday, “Taco Tuesday” commences, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d think it was like a weekly Christmas for some Mexican food aficionados. People pile into taquerias in droves to sample an assortment of tacos and to imbibe in, what else, margaritas. So where should you pile into this Tuesday?

Marix
1108 Flores St.

Ole! Every Tuesday in the dining room, shell out just $10 for all you can eat, crispy or soft, chicken, beef, or carnitas tacos. Does it get any better? What’s more, Happy Hour runs every day from 3-7pm, so even if you’ve got a hankering for some Latin cuisine on a Thursday, their guacamole and coronas are waiting for you, cheaply, with open arms.

Cabo Cantina
8301 W Sunset Blvd.

This eatery at the base of the Hollywood Hills offers a fun, party-like vibe and is definitely the place to head if you’re feeling casual and want to hang with friends. Two-for-one well drinks & bottled beer and unlimited chicken, steak, and carnitas tacos are featured every Tuesday. Heck, this place won’t even bat an eyelash if you become a little rowdy three margaritas deep. Eat, drink, and be the merriest.

Tortilla Republic
616 N Robertson Blvd

This sleek, WeHo hotspot known for its happy hours is a must-go for the creative taco eater. TR rolls out a DIY taco bar each Tuesday where you can load up on as many carnitas and guacamole as your stomach can handle. Good food in a trendy atmosphere; what could be better?

Micky’s
8857 Santa Monica Blvd.

Maybe the best deal yet, Micky’s, which has recently undergone a sleek new re-design on their outdoor patio that gives it an elevated aesthetic, offers $5 all-you-can eat tacos until 9pm AND $5 personal margarita pitchers. With entertainment from some go-go dancers and a delicious meal at your disposal, there’s no telling where the night may lead you.

Gracias Madre
8905 Melrose Ave.
Who knew Taco Tuesday could be so HEALTHY!? Celeb hotspot and a mecca for vegans, Gracias Madre is sooo LA, which we love, of course. Inventive dishes are the signature aesthetic; who knew sautéed yams and cashew butter could taste exactly like like a chicken quesadilla? Sip on signature margaritas and soak in the festive ambiance.

Pinches
8200 Sunset Blvd.
Think authentic Mexican fare right conveniently located along the Sunset Strip. Pinches may be unassuming from the outside, but their cuisine packs a punch – so much so you’ll be thinking you were kidnapped and somehow taken across the border once their tacos touch your tastebuds. Need a recommendation? Don’t go here unless you’re willing try the carne asada fries. You know what they say, “Try-It-Or-Diet”.

Pink Taco
8225 Sunset Blvd.

Have we saved the best for last? Aside from the humor its name suggests, Pink Taco is a Sunset Strip staple with an amazingly cool vibe and killer Taco Tuesday deals. $3 tacos that come out fast and of good quality, choose from beef, portobello, pink, or al pastor tacos. Pair them with $7 margaritas, $5 sangrias, and even cheaper beer, it’s your chance to feel cool without breaking the bank.
