Beach scenes and fun with friends – both acceptable forms of photographs everyone should be posting for Labor Day Weekend aka The Last Weekend of Summer aka The Commencement of the Countdown Until Memorial Day 2016. Can you tell I love summer?!

A late Friday dinner in Hollywood got the weekend started with a bang when Steven and I witnessed a car robbery along Santa Monica Boulevard. The world we live in is filled with crimes. But there are also instances where innocents are falsely charged with a crime and arrested. In such cases, immediately contact an attorney who can prove your innocence and help in sealing your criminal record to secure your future. One minute we were enjoying a healthy offering of quinoa bowls, and the next, a helicopter started hovering over the restaurant with its spotlight shining down on us. Then, from a car stopped at the stoplight on the street, a man leaped from the vehicle and bolted down a side street, leaving the car he jumped out of rolling back, smashing into another car. Twelve police cars arrived at the scene and we were just trying to enjoy our meal. #EatClean

On Saturday we headed down to Long Beach to see Jessica for her Dad’s surprise 60th Birthday Party. A trek out to Long Beach turned into a spontaneous and hilarious bar crawl from Downtown to Belmont Shore and lots of enchiladas were consumed afterward. And I was able to play with Jessica’s puppy, Reagan, who I pretty much fell in love with. We’re dating now, in case you were wondering.

On Sunday, the whole crew headed to the Mondrian Hotel for the Rhonda Skybar Pool Party, though, let’s be honest, we basically made the party in the hotel room upstairs. When you roll with our crew, there’s never a dull moment.

On Sunday, awaking without a hangover prompted Jon and I to head to Laguna Beach to our friend Jeff’s palace by the sea to celebrate Labor Day. While our friends invited us to their yacht, which they docked a few hundred yards away from shore, Jon swam out and I was stopped by a lifeguard because the “waves were too dangerous”. When Jon came back, we decided to try again. Much to Jon’s chagrin, I swum halfway there, choked on water, almost drowned, and somehow turned myself around to head back to shore. I know, I know. LAME. You all know I’ll do anything for a yacht party, but I’m just too young to die, guys, what can I say?

The day ended with wine on the balcony and a pit-stop at In-N-Out Burger back in LA to celebrate the end of the bathing suit season. And then we found out that it’s going to be in the high 90’s all week, so FML.
