Hello Champagne Society! A couple weeks ago I was honored to have my first promotional event for Uncharted Waters. Book Soup, arguably the most well-known book store in Los Angeles, was the venue for the evening as I discussed and signed my first novel. You can buy it HERE. I was thrilled to see lots of friends and even some newcomers come out and support my literary venture. The turnout was great and I couldn’t have asked for a more engaging crowd. Lots of questions flew my way which I was more than happy to answer, and I gave a history as to my motivation for writing the book and how much of my baby it turned out to be. ATTN: Champagne Society, SO. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I WROTE A FREAKIN’ BOOK! Yeah, it’s true, one of my lifelong dreams is actually coming to fruition. Way back in 2009, while I was studying abroad in Australia having the time of my life, I went through a period of a few days where I really started to miss my core group of friends from my college back in the States. As it turned out, I channeled that creative energy into my favorite form of art, namely writing, and somehow this story POURED out of me. Seriously. It’s like it wrote itself while my fingers just tapped the keyboard.
