I was thrilled to partner with blogger extraordinaire, Kitty Bradshaw, of www.kittybradshaw.com, to bring the assorted Lifestyle Bloggers of Los Angeles a meet and greet catered specially for them at Tom’s Urban in Downtown’s LA Live arena. Leading up to the event it was truly the Kitty and Kyle Show, ensuring that all of our sponsors were on board and that all of our chosen bloggers would be in attendance. We both hosted the event and Kitty led with a discussion about blogging and how each blogger wanted to further their brands. Delicious food (especially the fish tacos!) were served up from the amazing staff at Tom’s Urban and each of the bloggers tasted some specialty cocktails from the restaurant – the most popular being the Bloody Mary and the Urban Mule. Guests mingled and networked with each other and were also provided with complimentary gift bags as a “thank you” for…
Arguably the biggest event of the Hamptons come summertime is The Hampton Classic, the East End horse show that brings celebrities, equestrians, and all those seeking a good show together in Bridgehampton. Currently the event is in full swing. Here’s what you’ve been missing…1. Mary-Kate Olsen with SwaggerNo, I’m not talking about the general ‘I-don’t-give-a-shit-bad-assness’ she exudes, Swagger is actually the name of her horse, so she automatically wins in my book. A rider for years, this Olsen looked like a pro jockey riding around the green.2. Pony HuntersReady for your daily dose of cuteness? Starting today, the Pony Hunters Division of the Classic will be in full effect. Now THIS is the event that I’d be most comfortable partaking in. I told someone the reason I broke my foot was because I fell off a horse playing polo, to which the person asked how big my horse was. I…
Tomorrow is a monumentus day because it is my 26th birthday. If this is coming as a shock to any of you, I’m concerned why it was not printed in all of your 2014 calendars from the get-go.26 means only one thing: I’m no longer in my early to mid twenties; I am officially in my mid to late twenties, which is horrifying because I have not achieved everything I had originally planned to accomplish at this tender age. You know things are taking a turn for the wost when on the last day of being 25, I went home on my lunch break, made french fries, and cleaned my apartment. WILD, I know. But 25 was an okay year…List of Achievements- I held down a steady job & launched a talk show starring myself because I’m not narcissistic at all.- Lots of friends came to visit. (Court, Breeze, Patrick, Rick,…
Let’s talk about anxiety for a second. Today, the Board of Directors of the Arthritis National Research Foundation watched, for the first time, an episode I hosted of Arthritis Now, the new talk show for the foundation. Yours truly is the host, which obviously is awesome, but when my superiors are watching me interview it’s like whoaaaa stress. Basically the show is a two-man operation; me and Derek. When we’re filming it’s like I’m doing the show just for Derek because he’s the only person in the room with me when I conduct my interviews. So when someone else watches…it’s kinda like that feeling when someone walks in on you dancing like a SUPA-FREAK to your favorite techno song – your dancing is good because you’re totally uninhibited and having fun, but the second someone sees you, your just like…”uh, hi. I was just…uh…cleaning…” You immediately second guess yourself and think…
