March is a special month at Hamptons to Hollywood, namely because it’s my birthday, but also because it’s the commencement of spring and an aura of new beginnings fills the air just as the flowers are beginning to bloom again. Our March Restaurant of the Month was a special locale I’ve been dying to visit, The Malibu Café, and it might have been my favorite restaurant recommendation yet. The entire #ChampagneSociety filed into an appropriately white (can you say on-brand?) stretch limo in Hollywood before speeding off to the hills of Malibu just in time for Sunday Brunch. The Malibu Café is sprawling ranch rolling over acres and acres just inland from the pristine coastline. Some of your favorite shows have been filmed there, so the locale has its roots deep in Hollywood culture. The layout of the restaurant is large and open, with melodic country tunes dancing all across…

I was recently invited to my first Polo Match in Malibu and was beyond STOKED to attend. It’s probably the preppiest sport I can think of, so of course I sent in my RSVP as quickly as humanly possible to reserve my spot, being a lover of all things fancy and highfalutin. And because of Polo’s rich history of prestige and pretense, I knew I had to really out-prep myself for the occasion. Cue my polo whites: I donned a basic white button down with a pair of white shorts as the base of the outfit, then added a few beige accents to tie everything together and make it pop. A gold bow tie from Bows-N-Ties, a hand stitched off-white belt, and casual beige vans so as not to appear like I was trying too hard. Simple, classy, and classic – you can’t go wrong. Of course it didn’t hurt…

When you live in a different city than where you grew up, it’s always fun when friends come to visit. Here’s my guide on the best activities to do on such occasions… My friend, Lauren, is one of my best. We’ve known each other for YEARS and YEARS, our families are friends, we went through high school together, and we’ve remained tight ever since. Lauren also gets mad kudos because she is one of the few friends of mine that has come to visit me every single year that I’ve lived in California full time. One of those visits may have been because of a work trip, but whatever, I’m totally counting it. This weekend Laur was in town again to take in the LA sights and one of the reasons she’s the best visitor is because she’s always down to do something new, fun, and exciting. Who wouldn’t want…

This weekend was the incomparable Australian model and DJ, Ashlee Adams’ birthday in West Hollywood and we were living it up. Limo rides, cake comas, and a giant python – things got real.[L to R] Kyle Langan, Emily Sears, Jonathan Challacomb, Ashlee AdamsFriday started out with a table at Penthouse and of course celebratory champagne toasts to acknowledge the anniversary of our favorite Aussie’s day of birth. Because of her love for West Hollywood culture, The Abbey was basically a permanent fixture for the event, and rightfully so – did you know they have great cake??The VIP stylings continued with a limo to Malibu the following night when we had a run-in with a giant random python, frolicked on the beach, and then ended up back out on the town. It was a perfect weekend, everyone had a blast, and it was one of the best times I’ve had in…

When done right, apparently clambakes can be all the rage come summertime. After all, who doesn’t want to feast on savory cuisine after it’s been buried in sand for hours? Unfortunately clambakes are strictly an east coast endeavor – can you imagine anyone in LA starting one up? I’ll be the first, if you guys are into it. I’m thinking…Malibu…? Anyway, here are the best spots for planning your summer bake out east.1. Bostwick’s in East Hampton is an amazing restaurant (with great chowder, obviously!) and they do clambake catering! Only in the Hamptons…I would highly suggest using them for your summer party. Get their full menu and catering deets HERE – and ask for Caitlin!2. Navy Beach apparently does an excellent bake as well, and since it’s right on the sand, it seems like the PERFECT locale, am I right? Hailed as one of the freshest ( and as…
