Hosting parties is one of our favorite activities. Between seeing old and new friends and bringing new groups of people together, it’s all about being social and coming together for something everyone loves – good food. And because everyone wants to see the host, you become the ultimate time management machine. Our White Chicken Lasagna recipe is not only delicious, but also gives you plenty of time throughout the evening to mingle with your buddies. [Photo]

Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons is synonymous with The Hampton Classic; the eponymous horse show that beckons celebrities and the creme de la creme of New York society out east to partake in equestrian festivities, daring displays of athleticism, and of course, extravagant parties. One such event that took place was the annual Hampton Classic Benefit Luncheon, hosted by elite riders, Georgina Bloomberg and Jimmy Torano. Fresh off his High Performance Hunter Championship win, Torano emceed the event benefitting horse charities, including Georgina’s The Riders Closet providing special needs and underprivileged riders with equipment, and Give a Buck, offering scholarships for disabled children and veterans at GallopNYC. Chris Burch’s Nihiwatu, named the #1 hotel in the world by Travel + Leisure was auctioned for a cool $2,000. More than 150 well-shod guests saddled up for the cause sponsored by Douglas Elliman and One River Point. See some of the…

I was recently invited to my first Polo Match in Malibu and was beyond STOKED to attend. It’s probably the preppiest sport I can think of, so of course I sent in my RSVP as quickly as humanly possible to reserve my spot, being a lover of all things fancy and highfalutin. And because of Polo’s rich history of prestige and pretense, I knew I had to really out-prep myself for the occasion. Cue my polo whites: I donned a basic white button down with a pair of white shorts as the base of the outfit, then added a few beige accents to tie everything together and make it pop. A gold bow tie from Bows-N-Ties, a hand stitched off-white belt, and casual beige vans so as not to appear like I was trying too hard. Simple, classy, and classic – you can’t go wrong. Of course it didn’t hurt…

Last night I was invited to the launch of Syndney-based interior designer, Greg Natale’s new book, The Tailored Interior, which was held at The Jonathan Adler Melrose showroom in Los Angeles. Connoisseurs of the furniture and design world congregated to meet Greg, receive signed copies of his latest book, and browse the entire Jonathan Adler collection of home goods that blend whimsy and functionality all into one package, if you are looking in to getting new furniture to change your house design, see here this post named How to Select the Best Modern Luxury Furniture?. The Tailored Interior, published by Rizzoli/Hardie Grant, has a foreword by Jonathan Adler himself, and is a celebration of bespoke styling that will inspire both established design professionals and aspiring home decorators. Beach scenes and fun with friends – both acceptable forms of photographs everyone should be posting for Labor Day Weekend aka The Last Weekend of Summer aka The Commencement of the Countdown Until Memorial Day 2016. Can you tell I love summer?! A late Friday dinner in Hollywood got the weekend started with a bang when Steven and I witnessed a car robbery along Santa Monica Boulevard. The world we live in is filled with crimes. But there are also instances where innocents are falsely charged with a crime and arrested. In such cases, immediately contact an attorney who can prove your innocence and help in sealing your criminal record to secure your future. One minute we were enjoying a healthy offering of quinoa bowls, and the next, a helicopter started hovering over the restaurant with its spotlight shining down on us. Then, from a car stopped at the stoplight…

Last night I was invited to one of the best Fall Fashion Previews of the year; The Beverly Center Style Event, which caters to the top fashion bloggers and influencers in Los Angeles. The annual “Show Us Your Style” Challenge was hosted by celeb fashion designer Nick Verreos, and bloggers, Jacey Duprie, and Dani Song. As always, the desserts were on point, complete with chocolate delicacies, a full candy bar, and the perfect summer chardonnay. And because LA has such a tight-knit group of bloggers, I ran into fellow lifestyle guru, Mila Junge, who runs SoundOfBeautyStyle.com, whom I met at the Lifestyle Bloggers Brunch I hosted back in March. Jon and I even had the chance to have our style sketched by the amazing Angela Avanesyan, an up and coming designer who creates amazing art and fashion. The entire soiree was fun, informative, and offered the best bloggers in LA…

Last weekend was a dousy – from seeing Carly Rae Jepson perform her two newest hits in Hollywood to pool parties in Beverly Hills, it all seemed like a whirlwind of a weekend — AND the Hamptons to Hollywood crew celebrated Steven’s birthday! Never a dull moment. On Thursday we were treated to the musical stylings of Miss Jepson – whom I never thought I would ever see live – but when opportunity knocks, you take it, right? Friday proved to be something of a crazy day, but a little hike at Runyon Canyon in the sweltering heat cleared my head and cleansed my body for the epic night that followed; Steven’s Birthday Dinner at Tacoteca! The whole crew was in tow and it was great to see everyone come together to celebrate a good friend’s special day. Saturday brought about a spectacular brunch at The Ivy and two pool…

DEEP DISH PIZZA!! Can I get an “Amen” for Chicago!? This was my first time in the Midwest metropolis and I have to say, I was a HUGE fan. Everything from the sights, the summer weather (which I hear in winters is a whole ‘nother animal), the people, and the parties were amazing. I loved how nice everyone was and the hospitality that everyone exuded. Typical touristy things were necessary of course; The Bean, Michigan Ave, etc. and I was in town for Market Days which was a whole helluva lot of fun and lots of partying ensued – so of course The Champagne Society made multiple appearances. I even learned how to open a bottle of bubbly with a saber! We stayed with Trevor and Jason, our Chicago buddies, and they showed us a great time as always. What’s more was that I made a slew of new friends…

Honestly, this week’s report on the previous weekend was surprisingly eventful given the fact that I sat at home both Friday and Saturday trying to find some semblance of normalcy after many weekends going SO HARD. Sunday started with brunch at the famed, Ivy, which progressed into a very impromptu Mad Hatter Tea Party charity event at the famous LA landmark, Greystone Mansion, and ended with a dinner at Nobu. Not too shab. Check out the photo diary below:

I KNOW – I’m late on this, but just wanted to share some photos from last weekend’s shenanigans. Perhaps they’ll inspire you guys to indulge a bit this weekend as well?? The selfie game was in full effect as you can see from the above photo. Saturday Jon, Tara, Sean, and I hit up Greystone Manor to see the world-renowned DJ Dijital perform (and yes, the above photo was taken from inside the DJ Booth). While I didn’t get to spin any tracks myself, Dijital kept the beat ALIVE and it was a blast. Sunday was brunch, followed by a pool party at a chic boutique hotel in West Hollywood where I debuted a pair of Syndicut London’s NEWEST men’s swimsuit collection while popping bottles. Then we hit the town for the evening and bumped into a girl (in the last photo) who thought Robert, Jon, and I were famous…
