You’re probably asking yourself where I’ve been for the past…uh…few weeks? I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve been crazy busy and have let me blogging fall by the wayside. I know, I know. But, in lieu of any excuses as to where I might have been, I thought I’d just provide you guys with a fun photo diary of the past few weeks. NOTE: I had a birthday 🙂 The featured photo was from an impromptu picnic in a West Hollywood park one afternoon. Picnics are the absolute best. Have everyone bring some food, a soccer ball, some blankets – you can spend hours just hanging with friends in the fresh air. It’s the perfect springtime activity as the weather’s getting warmer. SUnSeTs in Laguna Beach, because…ya know…they look like this… ^ ^ ^ ^ St. Patrick’s Day happened and I had the absolute BEST shirt to wear for the…

If there’s one thing I love, it’s a coming-of-age story. Figuring out who you are, navigating the scariness and uncertainty of life, finding your place in the world…even as an adult it really makes me think. That’s why I’m excited for a new independent film currently in post-production, called Breaking Glass. The film tells the story of two teens, Gill and Bobby, who couldn’t be more different, but form an unlikely friendship after Bobby defends Gill against a crowd of bullies. The film explores the relationship between these two teens – shy, withdrawn Gill and tough-girl, Bobby – and their parents, who are everything each one of them doesn’t want to become. And honestly, at that age, who does want to grow up?One of the film’s larger themes deals with bullying, which continues to be a huge problem in today’s society. After all, no matter how popular you were when…

Up-and-coming clothing brand, Greyscale Goods, had their launch party at Sassafras in Hollywood this week. The company, similar to that of Trunk Club, is catering to a more androgynous set and is currently undergoing a online campaign via Kickstarter to jump-start production.[L to R] Kayce Brown, Kyle Langan, Sara MeddSo if you haven’t been to Sassafras, you need to get yourself there now. The New Orleans styled bar right in the center of Hollywood offers Haunted Mansion-esque ambiance (minus the morbidity) and has the COOLEST drinks around. Moonshine in a cinnamon-sugar rimmed glass, anyone? The venue was the perfect place to host the Greyscale launch as it offered friends and supporters to the chance to mingle and watch the brand’s SUPER playful and fun Kickstarter video, which pretty much says it all. The company, founded by Sara Medd, strives to make shopping as easy as possible for its customers and that’s…

This summer was one of the best of my life. Not only did I make a plethora of new friends, I also kicked my blog into high-gear on a professional level and launched a bunch of exciting projects that I am super thankful and proud to be a part of. It was definitely a work-hard, play-hard season. And yet, while I only have fond memories since Memorial Day, some of the most horrible things happened to me. I lost a friend, my apartment was destroyed in a flood, I broke my foot, my car died, and someone smashed the shit out of my brand new car. But it just goes to show that no matter how badly life can seem, the good always outweighs the bad in the end. Call it the power of positive thinking, call it being optimistic, but I finally feel comfortable and genuinely happy to be where…

Summer is here! Happy Memorial Day!Laguna BeachThis weekend was a blur of friends, fun and work. Yes, work – because when you love what you do, work is fun. I had a night out on the town in Long Beach, spent some sailboat time and cruised the city with Derek and friends, had a day of fun with Corinne, worked on my newest screenplay, did some social media work, and had a ball in Laguna Beach. Perfect weekend? It came pretty close. Here’s a few select pictures…Sailboat-ingCorinne found her dream carThis is just the start of summer festivities – more coming soon.

I was recently photographed by James Banasiak in the Hollywood Hills. He’s the founder of this new movement called Ignition Point – a way for artists to get their work seen and sold while also giving back to charities. I wanted to give everyone a sneak peek of my collaboration with him… More to come soon! In the meantime, check out these images on my updated Facebook Page and give me a like ; )

Merry Christmas, everybody! I’ll be Eastbound and Down in a few hours back to my East Coast roots so until then, wish me safe travels. And Los Angele(no)s, I’ll be very jealous of your supposed 80 degree Christmas morning weather & all of you sunning yourselves on the beach while I’m making snowangels and trying not to get frostbite. But wherever you go for the Holidays, have a ton of fun, be safe, and be thankful. Happy Holidays!- Hamptons to Hollywood

Unless you’re living under the Rock of Ages (which thankfully was not nominated for Best Musical), the Golden Globes are tomorrow night.  During last year’s award show, I stealthily tried to sneak into the event, which you can refresh your memory with HERE, but unfortunately was denied access into any swanky after parties.  So of course, there’s the impending decision if I should keep up with tradition and try to attend tomorrow’s red carpet as well. Thoughts?  Your opinions matter, everyone. In other news, HAPPY NEW YEAR.  Guess what?  We didn’t die.  Suck it, Mayans. Therefore, in response to not dying, I am really going to try and make myself some resolutions this year, because, you know, that’s what everyone does in January – makes stupid promises to themselves they know they won’t keep.  BUT, since I have this blog, I feel somewhat obligated and accountable for what I say…

Work at the clinic is moving along, albeit rather slowly. I’ve been working at my natural pace and had the office I am working in organized in no time at all. Completely. It’s so clean you could eat off my desk. So, because of my expediency, I was…well, promoted may be the wrong word… REASSIGNED. Yeah, let’s go with that, to the Boiler Room. The Boiler Room is this 12’x13′ room where, guess what? The boiler lives. However, it also has a graveyard of file cabinets stuffed with documents probably from the ’60’s. And guess whose job it is to rummage through and categorize everything? This guy. It’s all good though because I really am becoming an organizational machine. I know, my Mom would have a coronary if she heard me say that judging from the way my bedroom looked from the ages of 8-20, but listen, Mom, this time, it’s professional. The…
